These are just a few suggestions to make packing for Camp easier on you. The list below is for a one-week stay. Adjust the list as needed if staying for more than one week.
- Buff headwear
- 2 pair tennis shoes (one for water activities)
- 8 pair of socks
- 8 pair of underwear
- 1 pair of jeans or long pants
- 5 pair of shorts
- 7 short sleeve shirts
- 1 long sleeve shirt
- 1 sweat suit (June campers)
- 1 raincoat or poncho
- 2 swimsuits
- 1 beach towel
- 2 pair pajamas
- 1 western outfit for the Round-Up Dance
- Camo clothing
- Extra glasses/contacts or strap for glasses (as some have been lost in the lake)
- 1 cap or sun hat
- Toilet articles: toothbrush, soap, shampoo
- Bath towel and washcloth
- Waterproof sunscreen
- Chapstick
- Insect repellant
- 1 laundry bag or garbage sack
- 1 small tote bag
- Envelopes, pen addresses, stamps
- Fitted twin sheet
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Dogtags for returning campers
- T-shirt and boxers/shorts suitable for decoration in arts and crafts (optional if interested)
- Flip-flops or sandals
- Water bottle with strap
- Flashlight
- Footlocker, suitcase, or Tupperware Crate Packed and Ready
Items to Leave at Home:
- CELL PHONES- absolutely NO CELL PHONES are allowed with campers! Parents and campers will have to sign a waiver promising the camper DOES NOT have a CELL PHONE with them at camp.
- Money
- Gum
- Candy
- Food (If you bring snacks, please advise counselor upon arrival. Some campers have severe food allergies, and we need to be aware of any food items brought in your camper’s bag. Also, we like to keep snacks out of the cabin. Simply, let your counselor know. )
